Today I got a postcard from the Czech Republic.
The card shows the Czechoslovak cartoon Rumcajs. Rumcajs was created by Václav Čtvrtek and was produced from 1967 to 1974. Rumcajs lived as a shoemaker in Jičín but after a dispute with the mayor he had to leave the city and since then he lived together with his wife Manka and his son Cipísek as robber in a nearby forest.
