Germany: Lichtenstein Castle

Today I got five postcards: one from Germany, one from Australia, two from Belgium and my first card from Colombia.

The card from Germany shows the Lichtenstein Castle in Baden-Württemberg. Lichtenstein Castle was built between 1840 and 1842 at the behest of Duke Wilhelm of Urach, who was inspired by a novel of Wilhelm Hauff. It was built by Carl Alexander Heideloff in the style of the Historicism. Today it is known as fairytale castle of Württemberg.

Thank You very much Mirko!
