Germany: Trier Imperial Baths

On Tuesday I got eight postcards: four from Germany, one from Hong Kong, one from the United Arab Emirates and two from Italy.

One of the cards from Germany shows the Imperial Baths in Trier. Trier is a big city in Rhineland-Palatinate and the fourth largest city of its state. The city was founded more than 2000 years ago by the Romans and claims to be Germany's oldest city. The Trier Imperial Baths belong to the largest Roman baths north of the Alps. Since 1986 are the Imperial Baths together with other Roman Monuments, the Cathedral of St. Peter and with the Church of Our Lady on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The card was sent from the Postcrossing Meet-up in Trier.
Stamp:
Lily of the Valley (issued 06-05-2010)

Thank You very much Katrin!
