France: House of Jules Verne in Amiens

On Tuesday arrived ten postcards, three of them are from France.

One of the French cards shows the House of Jules Verne in Amiens. Jules Verne was a French novelist with a big influence on science fiction literature. He is the second-most translated author of the World. He was born in Nantes in 1828 and died in Amiens in 1905. He was a longtime resident of Amiens and lived in the shown house between 1882 and 1900 together with his wife. Today it houses a museum.

With a nice stamp:
The 1960s-cars (from set of six) (issued 15-06-2015)

Thank You very much Axel!
