Germany: Bremen Cathedral

Yesterday I got four postcards: one from Germany and three from Singapore.

The card from Germany shows the Bremen Cathedral. The Bremen Cathedral was built in the 11th century in the Romanesque style. Until the 13th century it was reconstructed in the Gothic Style. A special sight of the cathedral is the Bleikeller, an excellent place to preserve bodies of the dead in amazing form. Today eight mummies can be seen there.

Thank You very much Svenja!
