Canada: Wood Buffalo National Park

On Saturday I got three postcards: one from Canada, one from the Netherlands and one from the USA.

The card from Canada shows the Wood Buffalo National Park. The Wood Buffalo National Park was established in 1922. It is the largest national park in Canada and the second-largest in the World. The park is home to North America's largest population of Wild Bison and it is one of just two known nesting sites of Whooping Cranes. Also the World's largest inland delta can be found in the park. Since 1983 is the Wood Buffalo National Park on the UNESCO World Heritage List and in 2013 the park became a Dark Sky Preserve.
On the card there is a matching stamp. It was issued on 3rd July 2015 in a set of five stamps.

The card is prepaid.

Thank You very much Stinkypaw!
