Russia: Misha

On Tuesday I got eight postcards: one from Russia, three from Germany, one from Brazil, my first card from Rwanda, one from Thailand and one from Andorra.

The card from Russia shows Misha. Misha was the mascot of the 1980 Summer Olympics held in Moscow and became the first mascot with large-scale commercial success in merchandise. He was created by Victor Chizhikov. Misha also met Mickey Mouse and the East German Sandmännchen.

Stamps:
Russian Kremlins (from set of twelve) (issued 01-10-2009)
Soviet Cartoons (from set of four) (issued 02-12-2012)
2016 IIHF World Championship (issued 06-05-2016)

Thank You very much Svetlana!
