On Saturday I got a postcard from Turkey.
It shows the Old Theatre of Pergamon. Pergamon was a powerful Ancient Greek city and important centre of learning. Later it became one of the most famous therapeutic and healing centres of the Roman world. Pergamon and its Multi-Layered Cultural Landscape are since 2014 on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
