On Monday I got two postcards from Germany.
One of them shows the Francke Foundations in Halle. The Francke Foundations were founded in 1695 by August Hermann Francke. They are a school city and one of the most important architectural monuments in Germany from the period of Pietism and the early Enlightenment. The Francke Foundation Buildings seek for the inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The card was signed during the Postcrossing Meet-up in Halle.
