Italy: Getsemani di Casale Corte Cerro

On 15th October I got two postcards from Italy.

One of them shows the Getsemani di Casale Corte Cerro. It is a former sanctuary with guesthouse and was abandoned in the 1990s.

The stamp is from a set of three about the 700th death anniversary of Dante (issued 14-09-2021). I like the dystopian vibe of this stamp, which represents the Purgatory from Dante's Divine Comedy. The other two stamps in the set show Paradise and Hell also in modern interpretations.

Thank You very much Davide!
