On 9th April I got a postcard from Poland.
It shows Oświęcim Castle. Oświęcim Castle dates back to the Middle Ages and was once the residence of the Duchy of Oświęcim, one of the many Duchies of Silesia. Nowadays it is home to a museum. The city of Oświęcim however is internationally better known under its old German name Auschwitz due to being the site of the infamous Nazi concentration camp.
Used on the card were two stamps about the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Beijing (issued 24-01-2022). They got a nice and clear postmark from Oświęcim.
