Germany: Sylt

Today I got three postcards: two from Germany and my first card from the Balearic Islands.

One of the German cards is a map of Sylt. Sylt is the largest North Frisian Island and part of the German State of Schleswig-Holstein. It is a popular tourist location. Since 1927 connects the Hindenburgdamm the island and the mainland. Germany's northern most point is located on the island as well as Germany's northern most municipality, List.
I bought this card when I visited Sylt some years ago.

Stamp:
Udo Lindenberg (from set of two) (issued 01-07-2010)
with a special postmark showing a sailing ship
