On Friday I got a postcard from China.
It shows the West Lake in autumn. The West Lake is a freshwater lake in the Zhejiang province. It inspired poets and artists since the 9th century and had a big influence on Chinese garden design. The West Lake Cultural Landscape of Hangzhou is since 2011 on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The card was sent from the Postcrossing Meet-up in Hangzhou.
