Sweden: ABBA

On Monday I got six postcards: one from Sweden, one from Germany, one from the Netherlands, two from the USA and one from Indonesia.

The card from Sweden shows ABBA. ABBA was a Swedish pop group. It was founded in 1972. Its members were Agnetha Fältskog and her husband Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson and his wife Anni-Frid Lyngstad. In 1974 they won the Eurovision Song Contest with their song Waterloo. Other famous songs of ABBA include Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen and The Winner Takes It All. In 1982 ABBA bisbanded due to private differences. ABBA is one of the most commercially successful acts in the history of popular music.
