On 23rd June I got three postcards: two from Germany and one from Austria.
One of the cards from Germany shows a detail from an artwork by Albrecht Dürer.
Although Dürer is often regarded to be one of the most important Renaissance artists and greatest German artists of all time, no German stamp was issued for his 550th birth anniversary in 2021. At least two postmarks were used in his home town Nuremberg and luckily I still had one stamp about Biodiversity with his Great Piece of Turf that was issued on 13th September 2018.
