Yesterday I received six postcards from Russia.
One of them shows the Lake Baikal. The Lake Baikal is located in south-east Siberia and is 3.15-million-ha big. Lake Baikal is the oldest (25 million years) and deepest (1,700 m) lake in the World. It contains 20% of the world's total unfrozen freshwater reserve. Since 1996 it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Stamps:
Flora and Fauna (from set of fifteen) (issued 29-08-2008)
20th Anniversary of the State Duma of the Russian Federation (issued 12-12-2013)
Russian Kremlins-Novgorod Kremlin (from set of twelve) (issued 01-10-2009)
Thank You very much Nadezhda!
