Today I got three postcards: one from Japan, one from Singapore and one from Germany.
The card from Japan was issued by the Japanese Post to promote the Letter Writing Day. The Letter Writing Day is the 23rd day of every month and on 23rd July a new stamp set is issued on the occasion of it. It was established in 1979. The card shows an Iris.
With a matching stamp:
80 years Parliament (issued 29-11-1970)
Letter Writing Day (from set of twenty) (issued 23-07-2014)
Definitive (from set of two) (issued 15-07-1971)
with a First Day Special Postmark of the Letter Writing Day stamp
Thank You very much Keiko!
