Today I got two postcards from Germany.
One of them is a Christmas card sent from Engelskirchen. Engelskirchen is a town in the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia. In 1985 the Deutsche Post got the first letters sent to "The Christ Child at the Angels" and because they did not want to disappoint to children they erected the Christmas post office in Engelskirchen (angel means "Engel" in German), which answers the letters since then. In 2014 more the 135000 letters to the Christ Child were answered in Engelskirchen.
I bought this card in my hometown and used it to get a special postmark.
Stamp:
Presenting Joy (issued 02-11-2015)
with a special postmark celebrating the 30th anniversary of Engelskirchen's Christmas post office
