On Thursday I got two postcards from Malaysia.
They were both sent from the 5th Malaysian Postcrossing Meet-up. The 5th Malaysian Postcrossing Meet-up was held in Kuala Lumpur on 9th October, World Post Day. Nearly 50 postcrossers attended the meet-up, during which there were also a postcard exhibition and a postcard competition for students. Simultaneously there were meet-ups in Kota Kinabalu and Tenom. On the day there have been also the issuance of the Pos-silang stamp issue, which was actually planned as official Postcrossing stamp.
The first card was designed by honeysha85. The card was made into a maxicard with one of the Pos-silang stamps, the First Day Special Postmark and a special postmark of the meet-up on the front side.
On the backside are the signatures of the attendees.
With a nice stamp:
Pos-silang (from set of four) (issued 09-10-2017)
with First Day Special Postmark
The second card was designed by Matthew07 and shows the Petronas Twin Towers, Malaysian Moon-kites, a Rhinoceros Hornbill and two Malayan Tapirs.
On the backside are the signatures of the attendees.
With a nice stamp:
Pos-silang (from set of four) (issued 09-10-2017)
with First Day Special Postmark
Thank You very much Shaliza and Matthew for sending me the great cards you designed!
