On Tuesday I got two postcards from France.
They both are from the Musée de La Poste in Paris. The Musée de La Poste is a museum about the postal history and philately of France. It was opened in 1946 and is operated by the French postal operator. Currently it is closed for renovation.
The first one shows a French letter box, which is in use since 1962.
Stamp:
150 Years of Military Transmissions (issued 02-10-2017)
with a special postmark from the Musée de La Poste showing a letter box
The second one shows boots of a postman from the 19th century.
Stamps:
Marianne 0,10€
EUROPA (issued 16-05-2017)
with a special postmark from the Musée de La Poste showing a mail coach
Thank You very much William!
