Italy: Genoa

Last Tuesday I got three postcards: two from Italy and one from Austria.

One of the cards from Italy shows various views of Genoa. Genoa is the sixth largest city of Italy and Italy's largest seaport. It is also the capital of the Italian Region of Liguria and was once the capital of the independent Republic of Genoa. In 2004 it was the European Capital of Culture.
