Melk Abbey is a Benedictine abbey and one of the most important buildings in the Baroque style. As part of the Wachau Cultural Landscape it is since 2000 on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The stamp shows a Medieval manuscript from the library of Melk Abbey.
