On Monday I got three postcards from Germany.
One of them shows the German Clock Museum in Glashütte. Glashütte is a city in the Ore Mountains. In the 19th century Glashütte became the birthplace of the German watchmaking industry, after it underwent a structural economic transformation from silver ore mining to watchmaking. The German Clock Museum was opened in 2008 in the former watchmakers’ school.
