On Wednesday I got two cards from Austria.
One of them shows Maximilian I. Maximilian I was Holy Roman Emperor from 1508 until his death in 1519. He expanded the influence of the House of Habsburg through war and his marriage to Mary of Burgundy and thus laid the groundwork for the later global empire of his grandson Charles V.
With nice matching stamps:
500th death anniversary of Maximilian I (issued 11-04-2019)
with two different matching special postmarks
