China: Shaanxi History Museum

On Saturday I got four postcards: one from China and three from Belgium.

The card from China shows the Shaanxi History Museum in Xi'an. The Shaanxi History Museum is one of the largest and most important museums in China. It was established in 1991, which makes it also one of the oldest modern museums in China. The museum houses over 370000 relics from the Shaanxi province and Xi'an, which was the ancient imperial capital of China and the seat of more than 13 feudal dynasties including the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang dynasties.
