Germany: Kamp Abbey

Last Friday I got three postcards: two from Germany and one from Japan.

One of the cards from Germany shows the Kamp Abbey. The Kamp Abbey is a former Cistercian monastery in Kamp-Lintfort in the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia. It was founded in 1123 and was thus the first Cistercian monastery in German territory. Today it is especially known for its terraced gardens.

Thank You very much Marcel!
