On 27th January I got five postcards: three from Austria, one from the Philippines and one from Kyrgyzstan.
One of the cards from Austria shows some impressions of the Salzburg Festival. The Salzburg Festival is held in Salzburg every year during the summer months. For the first time it took place in 1920 with a performance of the Everyman dramatisation by Hugo von Hofmannsthal as opening. It is one of the most important festivals of classical music and performing arts in the World.
