Japan: Edo-Tokyo Museum

Last Tuesday I got two postcards: one from Japan and one from Poland.

The card from Japan shows the Edo-Tokyo Museum. The Edo-Tokyo Museum is a historical museum. It opened in 1993 and was thus the first museum dedicated to the history of Tokyo. It preserves Edo's, Tokyo's former name, cultural heritage and features city models of Edo/Tokyo between 1590 and 1964. The exterior is designed based on a traditional rice storehouse.

Stamp:
150 years Concept of National Parks and 50 years Marine National Parks (from set of ten) (issued 28-01-2020)
with First Day Special Postmark

Thank You very much Keiko!
