On 1st December I got a postcard from Germany.
It shows Saint Cyriakus in Gernrode. Saint Cyriakus is one of the most important examples of Ottonian-Romanesque architecture. It was built in the second half of the 10th century by Margrave Gero and served as collegiate church of the Abbey of Gernrode until 1614. A special feature is the copy of the grave of Christ, the oldest of these copies in Germany.
Although posted in the postal region 38, this card got the Covid-19 postmark from the postmarking centre 30 in Pattensen.
Thank You very much Marcel!
