I just returned from my city trip to Vienna and during my trip arrived many postcards. One of the cards is from the Netherlands.
It shows the Wouda Steam Pumping Station. The Wouda Steam Pumping Station is the largest steam-pumping station ever built and represents the high point of the contribution made by Netherlands engineers and architects in protecting their people and land against the natural forces of water. Since 1998 is the Ir.D.F. Woudagemaal (D.F. Wouda Steam Pumping Station) an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
With a nice matching stamp:
Dutch UNESCO World Heritage Sites (two from set of ten) (issued 11-08-2014)
Thank You very much Maick!
