On Tuesday I got nine postcards from Germany.
One of them is the Cronicle card of Rosenheim. Rosenheim was first mentioned in 1234. In 1328 it got the market rights and became prosperous due to the salt trade. In the 17th century the city was badly damaged by fires and flooding. In 1809 the salt works were built. In 1864 the city got the town privileges.
I got this card a few weeks ago in a cover.
With a matching stamp:
125 years of the first Bavarian Mountain Costume Union (issued 11-06-2015)
with a special postmark on the same jubilee
Thank You very much Heike for sending me the card in an envelope!
