On Tuesday I got eight postcards: three from Germany, one from Brazil, my first card from Rwanda, one from Thailand, one from Andorra and one from Russia.
One of the cards from Germany shows a map of Usedom. Usedom is an island in the Baltic Sea and the second largest island of Germany. It is a popular tourist destination since the 19th century. Since 1945 it is split between Germany and Poland. It is known as Sunny Island, because it is the sunniest place in Germany and Poland.
The card was sent from the Postcrossing in Usedom.
Stamp:
Chiemsee (from set of two) (issued 01-07-2015)
Thank You very much Mandy!
