On Wednesday I got two postcards: one from Croatia and one from Israel.
The card from Croatia shows Professor Balthazar. Professor Balthazar is the main character of a Croatian animated television series for children. He is an old inventor, who solves all problems of his fellow citizens with the help of his magic machine. In total 59 episodes were produced with Professor Balthazar between 1968 and 1977.
Interestingly the card was sent from Rijeka, which was the inspiration for Professor Balthazar's home town in the series.
