Last Monday I got three postcards: two from Portugal and one from Russia.
One of the cards from Portugal shows the Alto Douro Wine Region. The Alto Douro Wine Region is since the 18th century especially known for its port wine, but wine is already produced in the region for over 2000 years. Since 2001 is the Alto Douro Wine Region on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
