Today I got three postcards: two from New Zealand and one from the USA.
One of the cards from New Zealand shows a Maori war canoe found at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. At the Waitangi Treaty Grounds Maori Chiefs and the British Crown signed on 6th February 1840 the Treaty of Waitangi, the founding document of the nation of New Zealand. The Waitangi Treaty Grounds are one of New Zealand's premier historic sites.
With matching stamp:
175th Anniversary of the Treaty of Waitangi (issued 04-02-2015)
Thank You very much Sharon!
