Yesterday I got five postcards: three from Germany, one from Canada and one from the United Kingdom.
One of the cards from Germany shows the Archaeological Park in Xanten. The Archaeological Park is an open-air museum in Xanten with reconstructed Roman buildings of Colonia Ulpia Traiana. The construction of the park started in 1973.
EDIT: As part of the Lower German Limes is Xanten since July 2021 on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Stamp:
Variable Value stamp (from set of two) (issued 24-10-2008)
Thank You very much Viktoria!
