On 13th November I got two postcards: one from Portugal and one from Sweden.
The card from Portugal is the official postcard for the second World Postcard Day on 1st October 2021. It was designed by Shao-hua Wu from Taiwan based on the theme "Across the World on a Postcard". Officially revealed on 14th August, the design was made available to everybody to be printed on cards.
Like last year there was an official World Postcard Day postmark available in Portugal's capital Lisbon, which was used on this card. The stamp was originally issued in a set of two in 2015 to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Tower of Belem, used here however is a self-adhesive version issued in a set of five about scenes from the southern part of the country on 23rd September 2016.
