On 14th July I got four postcards: two from Brazil, one from Japan and one from Austria.
One of the cards from Brazil shows the Museu do Ipiranga in Sao Paulo. The Museu do Ipiranga was established in 1890 and is located near the place where Emperor Pedro I proclaimed the Brazilian Independence. It is home to a huge collection of furniture, documents and historically relevant artwork with a focus on the Brazilian Empire era.
A part of a big souvenir sheet about Architecture in Rio de Janeiro (issued 08-11-2020) was used here. This part shows the Museum of Tomorrow, about which I had written in a recent post.
Thank You very much Kyung!
