On 10th July I got two postcards: one from Italy and one from Austria.
The card from Italy shows a map of Tuscany and four landmarks of Pisa. Tuscany is a region in Central Italy. It is known as Birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and due to its heritage, landscapes and wines it has become the second most popular Italian region for travellers. Famous cities in the region beside Pisa are Lucca, San Gimignano, Siena and of course Florence.
Three older stamps are used on the card. On the left is one out of a set of four about the Day of Art and Student Creativity (issued 26-05-2001), the middle stamp shows Stintino in a set of four about Tourism (issued 14-04-2001) and finally the stamp on the right shows exhibits from the Archaeological Museum in Taranto. That one is from a set of two about Museums and Cultural Heritage (issued 12-10-2001).
Thank You very much Marco!
