On 7th October I got two postcards from Austria.
One of them is a World Postcard Day postcard. As you all know, 1st October is World Postcard Day, the holiday invented by Postcrossing to celebrate our favourite means of communication. This date was chosen, as the postcard was first introduced in the Austro-Hungarian Empire on 1st October 1870.
The card was signed during a World Postcard Day Meet-up in Vienna and got a mail-themed postmark from Kematen.
