Germany - USA - Japan - United Kingdom - Belgium: Comic Chaincard

On Wednesday my comic chaincard came back home with some of my favourite stamps of the last years. It travelled from Germany to the USA, Japan, the United Kingdom, Belgium and back to Germany.

Stamps:
Germany - Peanuts (from set of two) (issued 01-03-2018)
Germany - Fix and Foxi (issued 07-09-2017)
USA - Marvel Super Heroes (two from set of twenty) (issued 26-07-2007)
Japan - One Piece (two from set of ten) (issued 23-03-2011)
United Kingdom - Marvel Comics (two from set of ten) (issued 14-03-2019)
Belgium - This is Belgium - Comic Land (two from set of ten) (issued 17-09-2012)

The card I used shows Fix and Foxi. Fix and Foxi are the protagonists of one of Germany's most famous, popular and successful comics. They were created by Rolf Kauka in 1953 and their stories were published in weekly comics until 1994. In the comic's heyday it was published with a circulation up to 400000 per week and allegedly a total of over 750 million comic books were sold internationally. In 2000, 2005 and 2010 the series was relaunched and in 2000 they also appeared in a TV series. Apart from the foxes Fix and Foxi other main characters of the series include the wolf Lupo, his grandma Eusebia and Fix and Foxi's uncle Fax.

Thank You very much Zoe, Miyuki, Huiyu and Eliza for your stamps!

Germany - Japan - USA: Peanuts Chaincard

On Tuesday I got a very special card: My first ever Chaincard.

As the German Post issued the great Peanuts stamps in early March and as I knew that some other countries issued Peanuts stamps as well, I decided to organise a Peanuts Chaincard on Instagram. The card started its journey in Germany in early March, travelled to Japan, the USA and then back to Germany. Now there are seven different Peanuts stamps on the card.

Stamps:
Germany - Peanuts (whole set) (issued 01-03-2018)
Japan - Snoopy and Letters (two from set of twenty) (issued 10-05-2017)
USA - A Charlie Brown Christmas (three from set of ten) (issued 01-10-2015)

Just like the Peanuts card which I turned into a Maxicard I also got this card from a Postcrosser in Japan. So this card travelled from Japan to Germany, back to Japan, to the USA and finally back to Germany, in total around 35000km.
