Thailand: Wat Arun

On 31st July I got three postcards: one from Thailand and two from Austria.

The card from Thailand shows Wat Arun in Bangkok. Wat Arun is a Buddhist temple. Although it existed since the 7th century, its famous spires were just built in the early 19th century during the reign of King Rama II. Today it is one of the most famous landmarks of Thailand.

With nice stamps:
Centenary of Thai Banknotes (issued 07-09-2002)
Royal Rooms at Dusit Palace (from set of six) (issued 05-12-1990)
Heritage Conservation Day - Phra Nakhon Auytthaya Park (from set of four) (issued 02-04-1994)

Thank You very much Jobbo!
