On Saturday I got eight postcards: One from Canada, one from Russia, five from Austria (which I sent to me when I was there) and my first card from Cambodia.
One of the cards from Austria shows a marmot. A marmot is a rodent living mainly in the Alps. There are also marmot colonies in the Carpathian Mountains and in the Pyrenees and some marmots live also in the Black Forest. The marmot is according to the size the third-biggest rodent living in Europe. Only the beaver and the porcupine are bigger.
