Germany: Brunswick Lion

Today I got seven postcards: four from Germany, one from Australia, one from the Åland Islands and one from Guernsey.

One of the cards from Germany shows the Brunswick Lion. The Brunswick Lion is a monument in front of Dankwarderode Castle in Braunschweig and was erected by Henry the Lion. The Brunswick Lion is the oldest, preserved large sculpture from the Middle Ages north of the Alps.
I sent this card to myself to get a special postmark.

Stamp:
Star of Bethlehem (issued 03-11-2014)
with a special postmark of this year's Christmas Market in Braunschweig
