Germany: Lighthouse Schleimünde

On Friday I got four postcards from Germany.

One of them shows the Lighthouse Schleimünde. The Lighthouse Schleimünde is a lighthouse at the mouth of the river Schlei. It was erected in 1871 and since then its colour changed eight times.

I bought this card on the Internet earlier this year, as I knew that a matching stamp will be issued this month. The stamp is from the long running German lighthouse series and was issued on 2nd July. The colourful ring around the lighthouse shows its different colours during the decades.
