Slovenia: Otočec Castle

Today I got a postcard from Slovenia.

It shows the Otočec Castle. The Otočec Castle is located on a small islet in the Krka River. It is Slovenia's only water castle.

Stamps:
World War I Centenary (issued 28-11-2014)
During World War I was Slovenia a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. 160,000 soldiers came from Slovenia to fight in the Slovene regiments. 35,000 to 40,000 of them were killed. The Battles of the Isonzo were fought in Slovenia. After World War I became Slovenia a part of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, the later Yugoslavia.
The stamp shows the monument of Carniolan Janez, the unknown soldier, in Ljubljana. It was created in 1916 to remember the fallen Slovene soldiers buried outside of Slovenia.
Year of the Goat (issued 30-01-2015)

Thank You very much Mateja!
