Serbia: Museum of Natural History in Belgrade

Today I got five postcards: two from Serbia, two from Japan and one from Malaysia.

One of the Serbian cards was issued for the exhibition "Dinosaurs of Argentina - Giants of Patagonia" at the Museum of Natural History in Belgrade. The Museum of Natural History in Belgrade was founded in 1895 and opened in 1904. It is one of the oldest specialised scientific institutions in Serbia. It has a collection of around 900000 items. The exhibition "Dinosaurs of Argentina - Giants of Patagonia" was shown in Belgrade between June 2009 and March 2010 after it already toured through other cities in the World. It shows skeletons, eggs, nests and footprints of 15 different dinosaur species. The card is a maxicard. The stamp is from a set of two and was issued on 9th November 2009. The dinosaur on the card is a Megaraptor and the stamps shows a Giganotosaurus.

Stamps:
Year of the Sheep (whole set) (issued 19-02-2015)

Thank You very much Brane!
