Turkey: Yeşil Türbe in Bursa

On Tuesday I got three postcards: one from Turkey, one from Germany and one from Estonia.

The card from Turkey shows the Yeşil Türbe in Bursa. Bursa is the fourth largest city of Turkey and one of the country's industrial centres. It was between 1335 and 1363 the second capital of the Ottoman Empire. The Yeşil Türbe ("Green Tomb") is the mausoleum of Mehmed I, the fifth Ottoman Sultan. Since 2014 it is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Bursa and Cumalıkızık: the Birth of the Ottoman Empire".
