Czech Republic: Děčín Castle

Last Tuesday I got two postcards: one from the Czech Republic and one from Germany.

The card from the Czech Republic shows Děčín Castle. Děčín Castle was first mentioned in the 12th century and in the 16th century it got its current Renaissance appearance. Later it was used as a military garrison by the Czechoslovak, German and Soviet army. After the Soviet army left the castle in 1991, it was renovated and opened as museum in 2005.

The card was signed during the Postcrossing Meet-up in Děčín.
With nice stamps:
Historic Post Signs (two from set of five) (issued 06-09-2017)

Thank You very much Jaan!
