On 26th August I got two postcards: one from Japan and one from the United Kingdom.
The card from Japan shows the Giretsukan Museum at the Tokiwa Jinja Shrine. The Tokiwa Jinja Shrine is a Shinto shrine in Mito, the capital of the Ibaraki Prefecture, founded in 1874. In 1882 the shrine joined the ranks of the Imperial Shrines. The Giretsukan Museum shows exhibits about Tokugawa Mitsukuni and Tokugawa Nariaki, the two men who are enshrined at the Tokiwa Jinja Shrine.
